This is my choice project, it's a little lidded project that I made for my mom's friend. It says ashes of troublisome clients, she wants to put it in her office. For my tall project I made a vase. It is a little small, but it is taller than wide. It's 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. I glazed it with the clear glaze first and then dipped the very edge of the surface with bunrt orange glaze to make the cuts really stand out and add some interest for the eye. This project is already starting to look like a theme, it has similar cuts to remove excess clay.

These are my two bowls. The wide one was glazed in the teal glaze. It's 2 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide. The other one was glazed in shadow green. It's 2 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide. They are both pretty opposite in their shapes. The first bowl is short and wide, and the other one is tall and more narrow. Blue and green are also both pretty opposite colors. These are both pretty simple bowls to start the year off with.
